Autism And The Brain: The Story Of J Mac

Autism is a severe neuropsychiatric disorder which becomes most apparent at the onset of early childhood. Autistic children suffer from sometimes severe mental retardation due to abnormalities in their brain's cognitive development. This means that the child's brain does not perform or communicate as well as a mentally healthy person's. The disorder has no cure, and behavioral or therapeutic treatment has little to no success.

What do you think about Jason McElwaine? Here is the story about a boy, nicknamed J Mac, who is an autistic child that found a way to equalize his life to be as normal--or outstanding--as any mentally healthy person on earth. The story of J Mac proves that even a disabled person can be extraordinary.
